YALE FALLS TO RANKED FOES IN VIRGINIA
Yale (1-3, 0-0 Ivy League) is coming off two hard-fought road losses at ranked opponents in Virginia last weekend. The Bulldogs were within a goal of both No. 16 Liberty and No. 6 Virginia in the second half of each game, but ultimately fell 4-2 to the Flames and 3-0 to the Cavaliers. The trip marked a homecoming for Yale's three players from Virginia -- first-year sisters midfielder
April Kim and forward/midfielder
Ashley Kim (Fredericksburg, Va.), and senior forward
Annina Zelkin (Lorton, Va.).
DAVIES AMONG SCORING LEADERS
Junior forward/midfielder
Imogen Davies (Kilmacolm, Scotland) has six points (2-2-6) through the first four games, tied for fifth in the Ivy League in that category. The primary inserter on penalty corners, Davies had two points in each of the first three games.
TERROSO LEADS LEAGUE IN SAVE PERCENTAGE
Junior goalkeeper
Sydney Terroso (York, Pa.) leads the Ivy League in save percentage (.766). She is second in the league in saves (36).
ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Friday's game is part of a stretch that will see Yale play six of seven games on the road. The Bulldogs' lone home contest between Sept. 9 and Oct. 11 is a meeting with Harvard on Sept. 28. That is the Ivy League opener.

The Seahawks opened the season with a 3-0 win at Hofstra but have dropped their last two by a combined score of 14-3.
