Box Score BLOOMINGTON, IND. -- Rebekah Nemeth for the second time in three matches led the Bulldogs in kills and earned a spot on the all-tournament team in a four-set loss at Indiana on Sunday afternoon.
The scores of the match were 23-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-16.
Nemeth went for 12 kills, hit .400 and continued her impressive start to the season. Nemeth also led the Bulldogs with 18 kills in the season-opener against Oklahoma on Friday.
Ellis DeJardin added nine kills and 14 digs, while Kathryn Attar had eight kills on Sunday. Yurika Boyd had a team-high 17 digs.
After two hard-fought losses on Friday against teams from the Big 12 and Pac 12, Yale took the first set in a true road match against Indiana of the Big Ten.
The Bulldogs took at least one set in each of the three matches against Oklahoma, Oregon State and host Indiana in the Hoosier Invitational.
"I thought we played with a lot of heart and a lot of fight this weekend," Yale head coach Erin Appleman said. "I'm super proud of the way we competed at this level against 'Power 5' competition."
Yale returns to action next weekend in Los Angeles at a tournament hosted by No. 15 USC.
