NEW HAVEN, Conn.
- The Yale men's swimming team gets back into action this weekend against Ivy foe Cornell, looking to build off of two impressive wins against Penn and Dartmouth last weekend. The diving will be Friday followed by the swimming events on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kiphuth Pool.
Â
The Bulldogs sport an impressive 5–1 overall record and a 2–1 Ivy League.
Â
The Big Red, who finished first at the Zippy Invitational, is competing in its third Ivy meet. Cornell lost to Columbia and Princeton earlier this season.
Â
Last year, the Big Red eked out a win against the Bulldogs 148–146 in what was a heartbreaking defeat for Yale.
Â
This will be Yale's final home meet of the season. Prior to start on Saturday, Yale's eight seniors will be honored.
Max Bottene, Tristan Furnary, Henry Gaissert, Ryan Huizing, Chris LaBella, Duncan Lee, Christopher Miller and
Matt Slabe all have made outstanding contributions to the program over the last four years.
