NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale women's swimming and diving team completed its meet against Cornell on Saturday afternoon, taking down the Big Red by a score of 196-98. The Bulldogs are now 7-0 on the season.

Yale recorded the top time in every single event. In the sprint freestyle events, sophomores
Izzi Henig (23.56),
Raime Jones (51.95) and
Marlise Moesch (1:52.10) took first in the 50-yard, 100-yard, and 200-yard freestyle, respectively. In the distance events, sophomore
Ashley Loomis won the 500-yard freestyle (4:54.61), and captain
Kendall Brent took the 1000-yard freestyle (10:15.25).

First-year
Jessica Whang led the Bulldogs in the breaststroke events, taking first in both the 100-yard (103.60) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:19.94). Fellow first-year Jaime Yeh won the 100-yard backstroke (55.66). In the 200-yard backstroke, junior
Cate Sawkins placed first, touching in at 2:01.80.

The upperclasswomen paced the Bulldogs in the butterfly events. Senior
Lili Margitai won the 100-yard butterfly (57.02), while junior
Caitlin Tycz won the 200-yard butterfly (2:02.33). Sophomore
Olivia Paoletti recorded the top time in the final individual event of the day, the 200-yard individual medley (2:07.78).

The Bulldogs' next meet is the annual HYP meet, which will be held in Princeton N.J. this year. The meet will kick off on Saturday, February 1.
