Yale Battles but Falls to Undefeated Trinity

Elis Get Win at No. 2 Position

On Wednesday night, the Bulldogs fell 8-1 to undefeated Trinity (12-0), Yale's toughest opponent to date.

Yee Xian Siow '23 emerged as Yale's sole win, taking down his Trinity opponent in four games.

"The Yale Men faced a National Championship caliber Trinity with three of our top six players out with injury, and we competed extremely well," Brooks G. Ragen Director of Squash Dave Talbott said. "Siow had a great win at No. 2, and Spencer and Calvin pressed at the no.1 and 3 spots."

"For the team, it is about being able to bounce back on Sunday against GW for positioning in the CSA standings," Talbott said. "We are also preparing for league action on the road against Penn and Princeton the following weekend."

The men will host George Washington on Sunday at noon.
