Game Notes for Yale

Yale, coming off a win over UConn at CT Ice last Sunday, has a short week to get ready for a big road test. The Bulldogs travel to the North Country to take on No. 6/7 Clarkson and St. Lawrence. Friday and Saturday's puck drops are 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

BULLDOGS
Forwards Dante Palecco, Brett Jewell, Curtis Hall, Luke Stevens and Justin Pearson each found the net as Yale split games at CT Ice last weekend. The Elis lost to eventual champion and No. 20 Sacred Heart before erasing a 1-0 deficit to beat UConn 3-2. Two goals off 14 shots on target in the middle frame - and 42 saves from senior goalie Corbin Kaczperski - were the difference in the game against the Huskies. Hall, the sophomore Bruins' draft pick, leads the nation with .87 goals per game after netting his team-high 13th on Sunday at Webster Bank Arena. Yale has won eight of its last 11 games.

GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Clarkson has been among the nationally ranked most of the season with its 17-6-2 overall mark and 10-3 conference record. The Knights are getting plenty of scoring while senior goalie Frank Marotte is ranked fifth in the nation in both goals against and save percentage. The team from Potsdam, which is coming off a home split (both OT games) with Arizona State, has outscored opponents 73-47 this season.

SAINTS
St. Lawrence has not shared the success of its rival. The Saints are on a winless streak that goes back to November. Since the last win, there have been ties with Maine and UConn but SLU (3-19-3, 1-12-0) is coming off a pair of 3-1 losses at Harvard and Dartmouth last weekend. All three victories this season have come on the road for a squad that has been outscored 85-45.

SERIES
Since the first meeting in 1951-52, SLU holds a 60-38-11 advantage over the Elis. In a series that dates to 1929-30, the Golden Knights have a 77-39-7 lead vs. Yale.
