Box Score BOSTON, Mass. – Yale junior Gianna Meloni stopped 21 shots, but her women's hockey team lost to No. 4 seed Harvard 4-0 at Bright Landy Center in game one of the best-of-three ECAC Quarterfinal Series.
 
Meloni, who blanked Harvard on three advantages, saw her teammates outshot the higher seed 27-25.
 
Yale, the No. 5 seed, pulled Meloni for the last few minutes of the game, down 3-0, and poured shots on the Crimson net before the home team eventually found the open net.
 
Game two is scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. and airs on ESPN+.
