Box Score BOSTON, Mass. – Tess Dettling one-timed a pass from Claire Dalton into an open right side of the net at 6:54 of overtime to give the Yale Women's Hockey Team a 4-3 win in game two of the best-of-three ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal Series at Bright Landy Center. That tally means the two ancient rivals will meet in game three on Sunday at 2 p.m. It also gave the Elis a school-record 17 wins.
 
Dalton, a sophomore forward and Yale's leader in points, skated in from the left side and angled toward the net where she met a defender. As Dalton was deciding what to do with the puck, Dettling, a junior, was racing toward the far post and trying to beat her defender. The timing worked perfectly for both as Dettling only needed a slight touch of the perfect lead pass to place it inside the right post.
 
Harvard scored early in the game before Charlotte Welch, the Winchester, Mass., native notched the first of her three goals to send the Bulldogs into intermission with a 2-1 lead.
 
The Crimson responded with the next two tallies for the only second-period goals to take a 3-2 lead before Welch, who leads the Elis with 15 goals, grabbed her first career hat trick at 2:32 of the third.
 
Gianna Meloni, the junior Yale goalie, made a career-high 43 saves while stopping six of seven advantages. One of those penalty kills came in the OT and nearly ended the series, but Meloni and her teammates fought for another game.
