On the opening day of the Ivy League Round Robin, the Yale men's fencing team fell to Penn 16-11, Princeton 17-10 and Harvard 19-8.
 
Individually, the Bulldogs had some strong performances, Captain Isaac Shelanski sits in sixth place in the epee, with fellow senior Malcolm Miller right behind him in a tie for seventh. The saber squad's top performer of the day was from Nicolas Del Vecchio, who finished in eighth place. Foilist Maxwell Yee is in 10^th place. 
 
The Bulldogs will return to the strip tomorrow with renewed vigor to fence against Brown and Columbia.
