Shelanski Sixth In Epee After Opening Day Of Ivy Round Robin

Bulldogs Drop Bouts To Penn, Princeton And Harvard

On the opening day of the Ivy League Round Robin, the Yale men's fencing team fell to Penn 16-11, Princeton 17-10 and Harvard 19-8.
 
Individually, the Bulldogs had some strong performances, Captain Isaac Shelanski sits in sixth place in the epee, with fellow senior Malcolm Miller right behind him in a tie for seventh. The saber squad's top performer of the day was from Nicolas Del Vecchio, who finished in eighth place. Foilist Maxwell Yee is in 10th place. 
 
The Bulldogs will return to the strip tomorrow with renewed vigor to fence against Brown and Columbia.
