NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The National Football Foundation (NFF) and the College Hall of Fame announced that 11 senior members of the Yale football team made the prestigious NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college seniors for all division who maintained at least a 3.2 GPA throughout their collegiate careers.

"For more than a decade, the Hampshire Honor Society has served as a powerful vehicle for schools to recognize their college football players who have distinguished themselves both academically and athletically, and we congratulate the schools and each of these young men for their commitment to excellence in all aspects of their lives."
The Bulldogs honorees include six All-Ivy League performers, two All-Americans, two Senior Bowl selections, two All-ECAC honorees, two Ivy All-Academic team members and two CoSIDA Academic All-District selections.
Yale was one of just 17 programs from across the country to reach double-digit honorees and one of only five Division I programs to do so.
Yale is also one of 29 programs that have had at least one player recognized in all 14 years of the NFF Hampshire Society and one of only 20 DI teams.
