NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale volleyball team turned in a dominant performance Friday at Lee Amphitheater.
Bonnie Bostic delivered 12 kills and
Kathryn Attar added 12 digs as the Bulldogs rolled to a 3-0 victory over Columbia.
Yale (8-3, 1-1 Ivy) trailed 16-14 in the first set before running off six straight points to take command.
The Bulldogs also had to rally in set two after falling behind 14-9. This time, Yale scored 10 consecutive points to seize control. A Bostic kill capped the run.
The Bulldogs had a much easier time in the third set, racing out to 10-4 lead on their way to a 25-16 win.
Mila Yarich and
Audrey Leak each had eight kills, and
Maile Somera contributed nine digs.
Carly Diehl had a match-high 31 assists.
The Bulldogs are back at Lee on Saturday, hosting Cornell at 5 p.m.
