NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's swimming and diving team cruised to a victory in its first Ivy League meet last Friday against Columbia. The Bulldogs will look for league win No. 2 when they travel to Providence to face Brown on Friday at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center in Providence. The meet, which also includes the Yale and Brown men, starts at 5 p.m.
Yale, which opened the season with a dominant win at UConn, set three Kiphuth Pool records in the win over the Lions.
Iszac Henig swam 49.30 in the 100 freestyle, the 200-yard medley relay of Henig,
Lindsey Wagner,
Ava Franks and
Alex Massey had a time of 1:41.07 and the 200 freestyle relay team of Henig, Franks, Wagner and
Ophelia Pilkinton posted a time of 1:32.28, all new Kiphuth Pool marks.
Brown opened the season with a 201.5-96.5 win over Dartmouth but has since dropped meets to Princeton (192-105) and Penn (179-121).
