NEW HAVEN, Conn.  – The No. 6 Yale Women's Hockey Team, coming off a three-point weekend in the North Country, takes its six-game unbeaten streak into a three-game holiday week.

The Bulldogs, who moved up from ninth in the uscho.com poll last week, play at Long Island University Tuesday afternoon and then compete in the 2021 Nutmeg Classic. At 6:15 p.m. on Friday Yale takes on No. 5 Quinnipiac at Freitas Ice Forum in Storrs, Conn, in the second semifinal, and then the Elis play either Connecticut or Sacred Heart Saturday at the home of the Huskies. Game times on day two are 3 and 6:15 p.m.

BULLDOGS
Yale tied St. Lawrence 4-4 and beat No. 7 Clarkson 4-2 last weekend on the road.
Emma Seitz, who repeated as conference player of the week on Monday, led the way with three goals and five points. The Bulldogs have outscored opponents 46-15 including tallies from 14 different players and are third in Division I with 4.6 per game. Yale's defense has also been doing the job with a 1.49 overall goals against, while both goalies,
Gianna Meloni and
Pia Dukaric, played solid games last week in the North Country.

SHARKS
LIU lost its first six games before reeling off eight straight wins. The Sharks are coming off a league sweep of St. Anselm last weekend that included 5-1 and 3-2 scores.

BOBCATS
Quinnipiac, 13-1-2 overall, is coming off a pair of 4-0 road wins against Cornell and Colgate. It's only blemish this season was a 1-0 loss to Princeton at home on Nov. 13, while the Bobcats skated to a pair of ties against Providence before that. Quinnipiac edged Yale 3-1 on Oct. 30 at Ingalls Rink.
