The Yale men's basketball team showed great resiliency on day two of the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip Off. After suffering a heartbreaking overtime loss to Southern Utah on Tuesday, Yale responded in a big way. Four Bulldogs scored in double figures and Yale limited Milwaukee to 37.5 shooting from the field in a 69-56 victory over the Panthers at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena.

The Bulldogs (4-3) got terrific play from their bench, which outscored Milwaukee's reserves 28-8.
Michael Feinberg (12 points) and
EJ Jarvis (10 points) led the effort, both finishing with career highs.
Azar Swain contributed 16 points and
Eze Dike had 10 points, six assists and zero turnovers in 28 very efficient minutes.

Dike was named to the all-tournament team.

"It was a great bounce back win for us," said
James Jones, The Joel E. Smilow, Class of 1954 Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "Our bench was terrific. It was a great team win."

In front 31-30 at halftime, the Bulldogs seized control with a 12-4 run to start the second half, capped by an
Isaiah Kelly layup. The Panthers never got closer than seven the rest of the way.

By midway through the second half, the lead was 14, and it grew to as many as 19 as Yale cruised home to victory.

The Bulldogs outrebounded Milwaukee 42-37.
Matt Knowling led the way with eight boards in 12 minutes off the bench.

Yale had 16 offensive rebounds, which led to 13 second-chance points.

After playing five straight games away from home, the Bulldogs will take a short break for Thanksgiving before hosting Stony Brook on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Lee Amphitheater.
