BULLDOGS
Yale, which ran into a hot goalie in New York on Tuesday, outshot LIU 56-14.
Tess Dettling scored on a power play for a 1-0 lead before
Emma Seitz, the two-time ECAC Hockey Player of the Week, won the game in OT. Seitz has seven goals over the last five games and is tied for the team lead (7) with
Claire Dalton.
Pia Dukaric made 13 saves to earn the victory in the Yale net.
The Bulldogs, who have wins over three ranked teams, have outscored opponents 48-16 including tallies from 14 different players and are third in Division I with 4.6 per game. Yale's defense has also been doing the job with a 1.40 overall goals against, something that helped the Elis move up from a No. 9 ranking in the national poll this week.
