YALE GAME NOTES
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Men's Hockey Team opens its home schedule Friday night by hosting No. 6 Quinnipiac at 7 before Princeton comes to the Whale for a Saturday game at the same time. Both games can be seen on ESPN+ and internationally on Stretch Internet.

SERIES
Quinnipiac has a 23-7-5 advantage in the Yale series since the first meeting in 2006. That includes a 3-2 OT win at the Whale in February of 2020. Yale's first meeting with the Tigers dates to 1900, and the Bulldogs have a 144-108-10 record against them. The last meeting came in February of 2020, a 5-3 Yale win at New Haven.

BULLDOGS
Yale opened on the road last Saturday in a 2-0 loss to Brown that had the visitors with a 32-25 edge in shots.
Luke Pearson, a sophomore goalie making his first collegiate appearance, stopped 23 shots. The Elis had nine power-play chances.

BOBCATS
Quinnipiac, coming off a tie and an OT win last weekend at home with AIC, is 5-1-2 playing its first conference games this weekend. Thirteen Bobcats have hit the net and helped the team outscore its opponents 22-12. Dylan St. Cyr has had the majority of work in goal with a 3-1-1 record and a 1.70 goals against average.

TIGERS
Princeton opened the season last weekend with a 4-1 loss at Army. Jeremy Forget made 29 saves and Noah de la Durantaye scored the goal.
