ALBANY, N.Y. — Yale senior
Kevin O'Neil has been named a finalist for ECAC Hockey's 2020-21 Student-Athlete of the Year award.
Each of the 12 league institutions boast one finalist; on-ice accomplishments were removed from consideration for this award during the pandemic.
O'Neil, a forward with a 3.33 GPA, is a physics major in Pierson College who
has been a regular on the ECAC all-academic team. He has also been a regular in the lineup since coming to New Haven, but neither he nor his team competed this winter because of the pandemic.
O'Neil, who helped the Bulldogs win their conference playoff series with Union last winter, had 17 goals and 44 points in 94 games during his three seasons.
