AMHERST, Mass. – The Yale Women's Soccer Team outshot UMass today but could not get anything past the Minutewomen goalie in a 1-0 decision at Rudd Field.

Chandler Pedolzky found the net about 15 minutes into the first half before she and her UMass teammates held on to increase their unbeaten string to six games.

The Bulldogs, looking for their first win on a hot, sunny day in Southern Massachusetts, had an 8-7 edge in shots and a 10-6 advantage in corners but could not get sustained pressure on UMass netminder Megan Olszewski.

Yale, which had first-year Maya Bellomo in net today, is back in action on Sunday to host St. John's at Reese Stadium on Youth Day with a 1 p.m. start.
