BULLDOGS SPLIT OPENING WEEKEND
Playing their first games since a 4-1 win vs. Brown Nov. 9, 2019, the Bulldogs went 1-1 last weekend. They opened with a 6-0 win vs. Merrimack Friday before falling to Fairfield 2-1 on Sunday.Â

SPREADING THE WEALTH
Two games into the season, Yale has seven different players with at least two points and six different players with at least one goal. Senior midfielder
Imogen Davies (Kilmacolm, Scotland) leads the Bulldogs in assists and points (1-3-5). Davies is a three-time All-Ivy League honoree (second team twice, honorable mention once).

FOR STARTERS
Yale won its season opener for the fifth time in its last six seasons -- all at home. In addition to last Friday's win vs. Merrimack, the Bulldogs had three wins vs. Sacred Heart from 2015 through 2017 and a win vs. Michigan State in 2018.

SCOUTING LAFAYETTE
Lafayette (3-1, 0-0 Patriot League) has allowed one goal or fewer in three of its first four games. The Leopards feature a second team All-Mideast pick from the 2021 spring season in midfielder Audrey Sawers, who led the Patriot League in goals (four) and tied for the lead in points (10) in the abbreviated six-game campaign.
