Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. – No. 9 Cornell scored twice in the first and once in the second on the way to a 3-0 win over Yale at Ingalls Rink.
Connor Hopkins started the game in the Bulldog net and made seven saves in the first period before
Nathan Reid came on to play the final 40 and record 21 stops. Reid held the Big Red scoreless on three advantages.
The Elis, who have not been able to practice together in one group since Jan. 6, were outshot 31-18 and had four power-play chances.
Yale is back at home Sunday to host Colgate at 7 p.m.
