COLUMBUS, Ohio – It was a strong opening day for Yale men's swimming and diving at the Ohio State Invitational.
Noah Millard placed second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:16.92.
Jose Cano placed 20
th in 4:26.29.
Yale's 200 freestyle relay also placed second with a time of 1:17.96.
In the 50 freestyle,
Joseph Page finished 10
th in 19.95, and in the 200 IM,
Alexander Hazlett was 29
th in 1:49.02.
Yale's 200 and 400 medley relays both finished eighth.
The Invitational field is strong and includes Kentucky, Indiana, Lindenwood, Navy, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Ohio University, Ohio State, UCLA, Kenyon and Pittsburgh.
Action continues on Friday with the prelims beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by the finals at 5:30 p.m.
