NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Bulldogs last weekend clinched their third Ivy League title in the last four seasons, and also earned the right to host the conference tournament beginning Friday. Â
The no.1-seed Bulldogs will face 4th-seeded Dartmouth on Friday at 7 p.m. No. 2 Princeton will face No. 3 Brown at 4 p.m.Â
The winner of the four-team, single-elimination tournament will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. Â
The Bulldogs received honors from the conference this week. Five Bulldogs earned All-Ivy status on Thursday and Yale head coach
Erin Appleman was named Ivy League Coach of the Year. Â
Carly Diehl and
Audrey Leak were named First Team All-Ivy, while
Maile Somera and
Mila Yarich were named to the second team. In addition,
Gigi Barr was named Honorable Mention All-Ivy.Â
Yale wrapped up the regular season on high note with a weekend sweep of Dartmouth and Havard last weekend. With the victories, the Bulldogs capped the 2022 regular season with a 21-2 overall record and 13-1 league mark in conference play.
In conference play, the Bulldogs completed the Ivy League season ranked first or second in the conference in kills, assists, service aces, opponent hitting percentage and digs.

The Big Green (16-8, 8-6 Ivy) earned their most conference wins since 2015. The Bulldogs defeated Dartmouth in both matches this year. Yale won 3-1 on Oct. 8 in Hanover, and won in three last Friday in New Haven. Â
