COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Yale men's swimming and diving team had several strong performances on day two of the Ohio State Invitational.
Alex Deng set a new school record in the 100 breaststroke, posting a time of 53.81 in the preliminaries. In the final, he placed ninth with a time of 54.07.
Deng also was part of Yale's 200 medley relay team that placed sixth with a time of 1:27.07. He was joined by
Joseph Page, Connor Lee and
Noah Millard.
Lee also had a strong showing in the 100 butterfly, placing seventh in 46.76.
In the 400 IM,
Jed Jones finished fifth in the B final in 3:52.58, and in the 100 backstroke,
Greg Kalin placed second in the C final in 48.36.
The Invitational concludes on Sunday.
