NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The No. 4 Yale Men's Squash Team ended the 2021-2022 regular season in the win column with a dominant ,8-1 victory against No. 10 Rochester. This is Yale's first win against Rochester since 2016. The Elis finish the season 10-3 with a 5-2 Ivy-League record and 5-1 record against non-conference opponents.
Seven Bulldogs swept their Rochester counterparts on the afternoon including three seniors—
No. 1 Harrison Gill,
No. 2 Nadav Raziel and
No. 9 Tyler Carney—who were competing in the final regular season matches of their college careers. Also finishing up their college squash careers this afternoon were seniors No. 10 Jacob Rhee and
Samuel Turner.
For senior captain
Harrison Gill, today's win against Rochester was an emotional one. "Playing my last match at the Brady Squash Center was certainly an emotional moment," said Gill. "I've had so many great experiences on these courts, so for the team to come away with a win over Rochester for the first time in six years was fantastic. I could not have asked for a better senior day during which I was able to play alongside such a great team in front of my friends and family."
