Cambridge, Mass. – The Yale University women's swimming & diving team saved the best for last on day two of the 2022 Ivy League Championships at Blodgett Pool. The Bulldogs set an Ivy meet record, program record and pool record in their 200 freestyle relay victory while junior
Iszac Henig became a two-time Ivy champ on the night after also winning the 50 free.

In the final event of the evening Henig combined with
Lindsey Wagner,
Ophelia Pilkinton and
Marissa Healy for a time of 1:39.66 which broke the previous Yale and Ivy League meet record set by the Bulldogs in 2017 by just 0.03 seconds.

The Bulldogs started day two strong as Henig continued his impressive performances with another record. Henig took the top spot in prelims for 50 freestyle with a Blodgett Pool record of 22.17 seconds. The time broke Bella Hindley's 19 previous high mark of 22.34 seconds. Henig was joined in in the A-final by Pilkinton who put up the seventh-fastest time of the afternoon.

It was all Henig again in the finals as he once again set pool record and became an Ivy champion for the first time at 21.93. Pilkinton also showed strong in the final and improved with a time of 23.06 for sixth-place overall.

In the 500 free, captain
Ashley Loomis advanced to the championship final with a prelim time of 4:49.24. She went on take fifth overall with a time 4:48.72 in the title race as she held off Columbia and Harvard swimmers by 0.16 and 0.32 seconds, respectively.

Yale made it two events with two top-six finishers as
Raime Jones and
Vivian Weng swam next to each other in the A-Final of the 200 individual medley. Jones touched the wall in 2:01.24, over a second faster than her prelim time, to take fifth while Weng was less than second behind at 2:01.90.

On the diving side, first year
Hayden Henderson led the charge with a sixth-place finish in the B-Final of the 1-meter diving event with a score of 243.80.

Before night two of the meet began, Yale was awarded the 2022 Ivy League Dual Meet Championship trophy for the best overall head-to-head record during the season.
