The Yale men's swimming and diving team started the Ivy League Championship with a bang.
In the first event of the championship, the 200 medley relay of
Michael Blank, Alex Deng, Marcus Hodgson and
Joseph Page set a new school record with a time of 1:26.73, which placed them fourth. Harvard was first followed by Columbia and Princeton.
The 800 freestyle relay of
Noah Millard, Joseph Page, Philippe Marcoux and
Nathan Stern placed third with a time of 6:25.43. Harvard won in a pool record time of 6:16.19. Princeton was second in 6:17.88
After the two events, the Bulldogs sit in third place with 106 points.
Action resumes with the prelims on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. Tomorrow's finals are set for 6 p.m.
