HARTFORD, Conn. — The No. 4 Bulldogs lost a back-and-forth match to No. 3 Trinity by a score of 5-4 this evening in Hartford.
No. 4 Siow Yee Xian,
No. 6 Brian Leonard,
No. 7 Eric Kim, and
No. 9 Nikhil Ismail scored the four victories for the Elis on the evening. Whereas Xian swept his opponent three games to none, Leonard and Ismail both bested their opponents in four-game, hour-long matches. Kim, whose match was the longest of the day, won in five games against his Trinity counterpart.
The Bulldogs will compete in their final match of the regular season against No. 10 Rochester at the Brady Center on Sunday at noon.
