2022 SCHEDULE
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Tony Reno, Yale University's Joel E. Smilow '54 Head Coach of Football, announced the 2022 schedule that Team 149 will face in just over five months.

The Bulldogs return to the gridiron on Saturday, September 17, at Holy Cross as the Elis open the new season with two-straight road games. Ivy League play begins the following week on Saturday, September 24 at Cornell.

Yale's home opener comes against an opponent it has never played before. Howard University will make the trip up from Washington, D.C., to play at the Yale Bowl for the first time ever on Saturday, October 1.

The Bulldogs remain home in week four as the Dartmouth Big Green come to the Yale Bowl for the first time since 2018 on Saturday, October 8.

The Elis close out nonconference play and a three-game homestand on Saturday, October 15 when the Bucknell Bison come to New Haven. It will be just the fifth meeting between the two schools.

Yale finishes the month of October on the road as they make return trips to Penn and Columbia for the first time in four years. The Bulldogs play in Philadelphia against the Quakers on Saturday, October 22 before heading to New York to take on Columbia on Saturday, October 29.

The Bulldogs open November with their final two home games of the season. The Brown Bears come to the Bowl on Saturday, November 5, before the Elis celebrate senior day against the Princeton Tigers on Saturday, November 12.

Yale plays inside the horseshoe in Cambridge, Mass., for the first time since 2016 in the 138
th playing of The Game on Saturday, November 19. The Bulldogs were victorious in the last game just outside Boston, 21-14, and have won three of the past five meetings.
