NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale Football is well represented as the National Football League training camps open up this week. Five former Bulldogs are in NFL camps with the news on Tuesday that
Jaeden Graham '18 has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. Graham is joined by
Dieter Eiselen '19 (Chicago Bears),
Rodney Thomas II '22 (Indianapolis Colts),
Foyesade Oluokun '18 (Jacksonville Jaguars) and
JJ Howland '22 (Tampa Bay Buccaneers).
Most recently Graham was with the Atlanta Falcons but missed last season with an injury. At Yale, he earned first team All-Ivy and first team All-ECAC recognition as a senior in 2017 when he tied for the team lead with four touchdown receptions.
Eiselen, an offensive lineman, is in his second year with the Bears. He spent the 2020 season as a member of Chicago's practice squad. At Yale, Eiselen was a two-time All-Ivy selection.
Thomas was selected by the Colts in the seventh round of last spring's NFL Draft. At Yale, he was a two-time All-Ivy League performer, including earning first team honors this past season.
Oluokun joined the Jaguars after four outstanding seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. Last year, he started all 17 games for the Falcons, recording 192 tackles, four tackles for loss, one forced fumble, three interceptions, two sacks, and six pass deflections. In the offseason he was rewarded with a three-year deal with the Jaguars worth nearly $50 million. At Yale, Oluokun was an All-Ivy selection as a senior when he started all 10 games at linebacker, finishing second on the team with 50 total tackles.
Howland signed a free agent contract with Tampa Bay in May. He was a first team All-Ivy tight end at Yale last fall and also earned honorable mention All-Ivy recognition in 2018.
