Brovsky Joins Men’s Soccer Staff

Notre Dame graduate enjoyed long professional career

NEW HAVEN, Conn. Jeb Brovsky, who starred at Notre Dame and enjoyed a very successful professional career, has joined the Yale men's soccer staff as an assistant coach.

"I am very grateful to have Jeb join our Yale men's soccer family," said Kylie Stannard, The 5K Corral Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "He will immediately elevate our program with his rare combination of experience as an elite D1 men's soccer player from a high level academic and soccer program during his four years at Notre Dame, and then achieving his dream and ambition of being a professional soccer player for several years. He has been coached by some of the best in the nation and has played with some of the best players in the world. Even better, he has incredible humility and personability.  This combination is something I was looking for and I can't be more excited for the positive impact he will have on our program and student-athletes."

Brovsky comes to Yale from the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club where he served as the Elite Boys Director. His duties included designing curriculum for the entire ECNL program and managing administrative, technical and tactical duties for all Elite players and families. In addition, he managed the college placement/recruiting process for all players and ran NCAA education session for players and parents.

"To say that I am honored to be a part of Kylie's staff at Yale would be an understatement," Brovsky said. "The opportunity to join the Yale men's soccer family is truly humbling and the University's commitment to community, excellence, and diversity is second-to-none. I'm looking forward to working with the fantastic young men in this program and helping them in their personal and collective pursuit of excellence. Go Bulldogs!"

Brovsky played at the highest level of professional soccer with the Vancouver Whitecaps, Montreal Impact, Stromgodset IF, New York City FC, and Minnesota United. During his professional career, he acted as an MLS Ambassador to Street Soccer USA and the Homeless World Cup Foundation. In addition, he promoted Street Soccer USA's social media campaign, public outreach, and fundraising events to support the organization's mission to fight poverty and empower underserved communities through soccer. Brovsky was recognized as Humanitarian of the Year by the Vancouver Whitecaps (2011) and Montreal Impact (2012).

At Notre Dame, Brovsky was a three-time all-BIG EAST honoree. He appeared in 87 games, including 60 starts, and tallied 42 points on 15 goals and 12 assists. In addition, he was a four-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star, an NSCAA Scholar All-American and was named to the BIG EAST Championship all-tournament team three times.
