NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team kicks off the 2023 portion of its schedule hosting Quinnipiac on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center. In addition, the Bulldogs have a scrimmage on Sunday vs. Brown, also at 1 p.m.

This weekend is the start of what should be a very competitive schedule. Rutgers (Feb. 4), Indiana (Feb. 5), and St. John's (Mar. 11) are among the schools set to visit Cullman-Heyman prior to the start of Ivy play in April. Yale also has trips to the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic in Alabama and a visit to the state of Florida over Spring Break on tap.

The first Ivy League match is Apr. 1 at Brown.

The Bulldogs are coming off a successful fall. The doubles team of Chelsea Kung and Vivian Cheng advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Super Regionals, which was hosted by Yale. Kung also reached the quarterfinals in the singles bracket and competed at the ITA All-American Championship.

Quinnipiac plays a match at Harvard on Friday before making the short trip for Saturday's match.
