NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team is off to a strong start. In their first match of 2023, the Bulldogs cruised to a 7-0 victory over Quinnipiac at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
Yale didn't drop a set in the match.
At No. 1 singles,
Chelsea Kung posted a 6-0, 6-4 victory. At No. 1 doubles, Kung and
Vivian Cheng needed a tiebreaker to defeat Quinnipiac's Alessia Truden and Kamilla Nella in the No. 1 position.
The Bulldogs are back at Cullman on Sunday, hosting a scrimmage vs. Brown at 1 p.m.
