NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Noah Millard had a big first day at the HYP men's swimming meet at Harvard's Blodgett Pool. Millard won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:34.38 and captured the 400 individual medley in 3:48.94.
Yale trails Princeton 116-70 and Harvard 119-66. The meet concludes on Saturday at noon.
The Bulldogs started the meet with a strong second-place finish from the 200 freestyle relay team of
Joseph Page, Lucius Brown, Marcus Hodgson and
Connor Lee. Yale had a time of 1:19.95. Harvard won in 1:19.04.
Lee and Page also had second-place finishes in individual events. Lee in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:45.92 and Page in the 50 freestyle in 19.97.
In the 3-meter diving,
Aidan Thomas placed third with a score of 328.45.
In the 1000 freestyle,
Jose Cano was fifth with a time of 9:09.91.
