HAMDEN, Conn. – The Yale men's hockey team fell to Sacred Heart, 4-3, in the consolation game at CT Ice. The loss puts Yale at 3-14-4 overall, while the Pioneers improved to 13-10-2 overall.

How It Happened
- Sacred Heart broke through first with a goal at the 6:47 mark of the first period.
- Yale netted the equalizer as Ian Carpentier found the back of the net on the powerplay.
- Sacred Heart then scored three unanswered goals with two coming in the second period and one in the third.
- The Bulldogs found a groove in the third period as Ryan Carmichael got the scoring started with a rip from in between the circles.
- A quick pass from Briggs Gammill and a release from David Chen brought the Bulldogs within one with 8:27 remaining in the game.
- Yale's late push was not enough as Sacred Heart went on to seal the one-goal victory.
- Nathan Reid made 35 saves in the start for Yale.
