NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team capped a strong weekend with a 6-1 victory over Temple at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center. The Bulldogs won three matches over the last two days after beating Binghamton and Fairfield on Saturday.
Against the Owls, Yale's doubles teams of
Theo Dean and
Michael Sun and
Shervin Dehmoubed and
Vignesh Gogineni both posted 6-3 wins.
In singles, Sun rallied after losing the first set to win 5-7, 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 4 position.
The Bulldogs head to Wisconsin next weekend to face Western Michigan on Saturday and the University of Wisconsin on Sunday.
