Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a hard-fought contest between two Ivy League rivals, the Yale men's soccer team fell to Harvard 3-1 on Saturday evening at Jordan Field. Jan Riecke scored the game-winner in the 80^th minute for the Crimson. Joseph Farouz scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs.
 
With the win, Harvard improves to 3-3-6 and picks up three points in the conference standings. Yale drops to 6-4-2 with the loss.

"Credit to Harvard for capitalizing on their chances because they took their opportunities better than we did despite us having more good looks," said Kylie Stannard, the 5K Corral Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "We were onside when we scored in the first half so it's tough to have that called back and not be up at half while in control.  We need to learn a lot from this game and performance and hopefully we can respond positively."

• 3' | Eric Lagos takes a left-footed shot inside the box, but his attempt is saved by Harvard keeper Lucian Wood.
• 21' | Lagos converges on the goalkeeper but his attempt is snuffed out by Wood and his secondary attempt sails out of bounds.
• 24' | The Bulldogs have an opportunity on net, but a questionable offsides call renders the goal attempt as null.
• 29' | Joseph Farouz fires a shot toward the goal, but his strike hits the crossbar and bounces back into play.  
• HT | The Bulldogs dominate possession throughout the first 45 minutes, outshooting Harvard 11-4.
• 54' | Yale nearly gets on the board but a fantastic defensive save from a Harvard defender keeps the game scoreless.
• 61' | GOAL! Farouz puts one in off a corner kick from Max Rogers to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead.

• 71' | TJ Presthus unloads a shot that just barely flies over the crossbar.
• 80' | Harvard scores off a corner kick to take the 2-1 lead with just over 10 minutes left to play.
