Men's Hockey Opens 2023-24 Season at Brown

The Yale men's hockey team kicks off its 2023-24 season with a conference matchup on the road at Brown.

Five things to know:

Back for More - The Bulldogs return 21 players from the 2022-23 season. Leading the way for Yale are senior captain Reilly Connors and an eight-member senior class.
Welcome - Yale added seven players to the fold ahead of the season. Goaltender Jack Stark, forwards David Andreychuk, Will Richter, Iisai Pesonen, Seiya Tanaka-Campbell, and defensemen Owen Forester and Rhys Bentham.
Hear from Coach – "As a group, we are all very excited for our upcoming season, said Keith Allain, Malcolm G. Chace Head Coach. "Our men have worked hard in preparation for what is a challenging schedule. We will compete with a strong work ethic and compete as a team, each and every game. I believe that anyone who watches this Yale team play will see immediately how much this group loves playing with each other while representing the great traditions of Yale Hockey."
Last Time Out – The Bulldogs and Bears split last season's series with Yale taking a 2-0 victory over Brown in New Haven, and Brown taking a 2-1 victory over Yale in Providence.
Point Producers – Yale's two leading point-getters from the 2022-23 season, Ian Carpentier (17) and David Chen (15) are back as well as senior Briggs Gammill who led the team in assists.
