NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior
Elle Hartje recorded her 90
th career assist on a first period goal to move her into the number one spot in program history. Hartje tallied five points during the contest to lead Yale to a 8-0 rout of Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon at Ingalls Rink.
Hartje recorded her record-breaking assist on a
Stephanie Stainton goal midway through the opening frame. With the helper, Hartje passed former teammate
Claire Dalton as the Bulldogs' program leader with almost a full season to go.
With the victory, Yale improves to 3-1-0 overall (3-1-0 ECAC), winning its second straight home contest to begin the year. Dartmouth falls to 2-3-1 overall (1-3-1 ECAC).
