AMHERST, Mass. – It was a strong start to the season for the Yale swimming and diving team. The Bulldogs broke seven pool records on their way to a 163-126 victory over UMass at Joseph Rogers Pool.
The pool records came from the 200 medley relay (1:42.85),
Caroline Riggs (16:54.67 - 1650 free, 4:55.33 -500 free),
Jessey Li (23.20 - 50 free),
Vivian Weng (55.82 - 100 fly).
Ava Franks (2:023.36 - 200 IM) and the 200 free relay (1:22.55).
Yale also got victories from
Hayden Henderson in the 1- and 3-meter diving, Franks in the 100 breaststroke,
Lilly Derivaux in the 200 butterfly and Li in the 200 breaststroke.
