NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Yale women's ice hockey team won their second straight game, beating RPI 4-1 on Saturday afternoon at Ingalls Rink. One day after taking down Union in overtime, the Bulldogs easily handled the Engineers, scoring two goals in the opening period and never relinquishing the lead.
With the win, Yale improves to 5-3-0 this season. The Engineers fall to 6-7 overall.

- P1, 11:18 | GOAL! Anna Bargman gets the Bulldogs in the board midway through the first. After Elle Hartje takes it into the attacking area, she dished to winger Jordan Ray. Ray skated forward and delivered a perfect crossing pass to the back post. Bargman poked the puck into the back of the net to give Yale a 1-0 lead.
- P1, 19:26 | GOAL! The Bulldogs add their second goal with time winding down in the opening frame. Hartje fished the puck out from near the boards and passed to Stephanie Stainton in the slot. Stainton sent a back-hand pass to Naomi Boucher who converted the one-timer, giving the hosts a 2-0 lead.
- P2, 17:47 | RPI cuts the lead in half with a goal by Nina Christof.
- P3, 7:17 | GOAL! Hartje gets involved again, taking the puck from in back of the visitors net. She passes directly into the slot where Anna Bargman rockets a wrister. Her attempt clangs off the crossbar and as the puck descends, Ray is able to knock it into the net for the Bulldogs' third goal of the game.
