Bulldogs Earn Spots in ITA National Rankings

Dean, Gogineni ranked in singles; Dean and Reilly earn doubles ranking

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – It was a strong fall season for the Yale men's tennis team and that is reflected in the latest ITA national rankings. Theo Dean is No. 60 in singles, Vignesh Gogineni is No. 100 in singles and the doubles team of Dean and Aidan Reilly sits at No. 39.
 
Dean, a first team All-Ivy selection last spring, had a strong showing at the Georgia Tech Invitational, winning all three of singles matches, defeating players from Georgia and Alabama en route to winning the singles title. He also qualified for the ITA Super Regionals and the ITA All-American Championship while also competing in the prestigious Milwaukee Classic.
 
Gogineni advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Super Regionals and also played in the ITA All-American Championship and the Milwaukee Classic.
 
Dean and Reilly had a strong showing at the Georgia Tech Invitational, knocking off a duo from Georgia.
 
Yale's spring season will begin in January.
