Jack Stark was fantastic between the pipes, recorded his first collegiate shutout, stopping every shot he faced to earn the victory.
With the win, Yale improves to 2-4. St. Lawrence falls to 3-7-1.

- P1, 10:03 | GOAL! After Briggs Gammill fights for the puck along the boards, the forward was able to get a pass off to David Chen. From the point, Chen fired a wrister, beating the St. Lawrence goaltender and putting the Bulldogs up 1-0.
- P1, 17:02 | GOAL! Taking the puck out of the defensive zone, Ian Carpentier sent a cross-ice pass to David Andreychuk near center ice. Andreychuk took his time and dished it across the slot to Carpentier who raced forward to put the puck into the back of the net at the far post.
- END OF 2 | Despite the scoreless period, the Bulldogs were outstanding defensively, killing off three power play opportunities for the Saints. Yale goaltender Jack Stark made 13 saves in the second period to keep the visitors off the scoreboard.
