NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's hockey team fell to No. 10 Cornell, 3-1, at Ingalls Rink. The Bulldogs moved to 1-1 overall and in the ECAC, while the Big Red improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the conference.  
 
Scoring Summary

• P1, 7:02 | Iisai Pesonen broke open the scoring for the Bulldogs in the first period. Pesonen and David Andreychuk connected on a give-and-go to give Yale the lead.
• P1, 13:52 | The Big Red tied the game seven minutes later.
• P2, 4:05 | Cornell's Ryan Walsh gave his squad the lead with a powerplay goal in the second.
• P3, 19:03.5 | Cornell sealed the win with an empty-net goal.
