Bulldogs Draw With Brown On Senior Day

Yale locks up the No. 3 seed in Ivy League Tournament

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with Brown on Saturday afternoon at Reese Stadium. Despite the back-and-forth offensive game, both teams could not find the back of the net.

As a result, Yale finishes the season tied for second in the Ivy League standings with Harvard. The Bulldogs conclude the regular season with an 8-5-3 overall record and a 3-1-3 mark in the conference. Because of tie-breaking procedure, Yale will be slotted as the third seed in the upcoming inagurual Ivy League Tournament, while Harvard will earn the No. 2 seed. Penn was crowned the conference regular season champions after a win over Princeton earlier tonight. The Quakers finished with 14 points overall and earned the top seed and hosting duties at the postseason tournament.

With the draw, Brown clinched the fourth and final spot in the Ivy League Tournament. The Bears (5-4-7 overall, 2-0-5 Ivy League) concluded the season with 11 points.
