NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 4 Yale men's squash team defeated No. 6 Trinity, 6-3, at the Brady Squash Center. The win puts the Bulldogs at 7-3 overall, while the Bantams fell to 12-4.
In a lively senior night atmosphere,
Eric Kim put on a strong and exciting showing in his match. Kim took the first set before his opponent took the following two by small margins. He managed to gain momentum, coming back to win the final two sets by four and two points, respectively, to take the five-set victory.
After falling by eight points in the first set,
Merritt Wurts powered to three-straight wins, including a dominating nine-point victory in the succeeding set.
