Bulldogs Edge Colgate at Home

 NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's hockey team defeated Colgate, 4-2, at Ingalls Rink. Yale's record improved to 7-17-4 overall with the win and 6-13-2 in the ECAC, Colgate moved to 14-16-4 overall and 11-9-2 in the conference.
 
Scoring Summary
  • P1, 3:28 | Colgate hopped on the board at the 3:28 mark of the second period.  
  • P1, 4:38 | Just a minute later, Niklas Allain attempted a shot on goal that bounced off the goalkeeper's pads and to the stick of a breaking-Connor Sullivan for him to put home.
  • P1, 8:21 | The Raiders scored the go-ahead goal.
  • P3, 9:49 | Cole Donhauser found Ian Carpentier through a seam for the game-tying goal on the powerplay. 
  • P3, 10:11, | It was Connor Sullivan who lofted a shot on goal that spit out in front of goal. Reilly Connors found space in front and sailed it into the back of the net for the eventual game-winner.
  • P3, 1:23 | Ryan Conroy iced the game with an empty net goal with just over a minute left.

  • Nathan Reid made 23 saves in goal for Yale.
  • This was Yale's first win over Colgate since Feb. 22, 2020.
  • Yale has now captured victories in back-to-back games.
