PROVIDENCE, R.I. – It was a memorable final night for the Yale men's swimming and diving team at the Ivy League Championship at Brown. Two Bulldogs earned Ivy titles.
Noah Millard captured the 1650 freestyle with a time of 14:47.51, his third gold medal of the championship, and
Joseph Page won the 100 freestyle with a time of 42.73.
Millard, who also won the 200 and 500 freestyles, shared the Phil Moriarty High Point Swimmer of the Meet Award with Princeton's Raunak Khosla.
The Bulldogs finished third in the team competition with 1,052 points. Harvard won the Ivy title with 1,545 points. Princeton (1433.5) was second.
Yale had several strong performances on the final day.
Jean Paul Ditto placed second in the 3-meter diving with a score of 359.30.
In the 200 butterfly,
Connor Lee finished seventh with a time of 1:45.02.
Alex Deng was sixth in the 200 breaststroke in 1:56.55.
In the final event of the meet, Yale's 400 freestyle relay team of Millard,
Marcus Hodgson, Ben Meulemans and Page finished second in 2:51.53. Harvard won with a pool record time of 2:51.23. Yale's time also beat the previous pool mark.
