NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team hosts a pair Big Ten opponents this weekend at Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center. The Bulldogs meet Rutgers on Saturday at 1 p.m. and have a Sunday morning date with Indiana at 11 a.m.
 
Yale opened the spring season with a convincing 7-0 victory over Quinnipiac on Jan. 21. The Bulldogs did not drop a set in the match.
 
The Scarlet Knights are off to a hot start this spring, earning wins over Bucknell (7-0), Binghamton (7-0) and Drexel (6-1). This marks the first time the team has started off 3-0 since the 2018 spring season when RU won its first four matches.  
 
The Hoosiers are 3-1 with their only loss coming to West Virginia. Yale dropped a 4-3 decision at IU last spring.
