The Bulldogs are back on the road for the first of a four-game road swing with a pair of ECAC contests at Union and RPI on Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11. Both contests will be streamed on ESPN+ and for international viewing on Stretch Internet.

Bulldog Bytes

• Yale (5-14-4, 5-10-2 ECAC) has captured victories in back-to-back games, that saw them outscore their opponents, 8-0.
• Luke Pearson has had laser focus in goal for the Bulldogs, leading him to two-straight shutouts and an ECAC Goaltender of the Week award last week.
• The sophomore has a .938 save percentage and 1.81 goals against average.
• William Dineen has been a top centermen in the ECAC this season. In the faceoff circle, he is 52.8 percent and has over 200 faceoff wins.
• Niklas Allain, Kalen Szeto, and Ian Carpentier have all scored in back-to-back games.
• Ian Carpentier and William Dineen are riding four-game point streaks.
• David Chen extended his point streak to three games with an assist against St. Lawrence last Saturday.

Scouting Union

• Union is 11-15-2 overall and 5-10-1 in the ECAC.
• The Dutchmen are 3-2 in their last five games.
• They sport an 8-4 home record this season.
• In their last outing, the Dutchmen fell to No. 11 Cornell on the road, 10-1.
• Tyler Watkins has been hot for Union with points in his last five games.
• Connor Murphy will likely start in goal. The senior has 14 starts this season and an .889 save percentage.

 
Last Meeting with the Dutchmen
A Jan. 14 meeting between these two sides saw the pair play to a scoreless draw through overtime. The Dutchmen ended up snagging the extra points in the standings with a shootout victory.
 
Scouting RPI

• RPI is 11-16-1 overall and 6-10-0 in the conference.
• At home this season, the Engineers are 10-3-1.
• The Engineers are 3-2 in their last five games. They have overtime wins over Clarkson (3-2) and St. Lawrence (4-3), a regulation win over Colgate (2-1) and losses to Union (6-0) and Cornell (3-1).
• Sutter Muzzatti is RPI's leader on the offensive front. Muzzatti has six goals and 12 assists, while Hobey Baker nominee Ryan Mashie leads the team in goals with 10.

Last Meeting with the Engineers
Yale captured the 4-1 victory just a few weeks ago. Connor Sullivan, Brandon Tabakin, Reilly Connors, and Quinton Ong were the goal scorers for the Bulldogs, while Luke Pearson took the 26-save victory in goal.

Looking Ahead
The Bulldogs will remain on the road next week as they face Quinnipiac and Princeton on Friday, Feb 17 and Saturday, Feb. 18.
