SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Yale men's tennis team had another strong showing on the West Coast. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs came up just short, falling to No. 38 UC Santa Barbara 4-3.
Yale's
Luke Neal won the most exciting match of the night, edging Lucca Liu in three sets at the No. 4 position. Neal won the first set in a tiebreaker, dropped the second and then won the deciding set 6-2.
Michael Sun and
Walker Oberg both posted straight sets wins.
The Bulldogs now move to Northern California where they face Cal Poly on Friday at 2 p.m. EDT.
